How the Summer is…

It’s summer 2026. How the time flies. I look back on how far I’ve come and what I’ve accomplished. After losing my job of over 10 years earlier this year due to layoff, I’ve found myself in a completely new career. Driving. I obtained my CDL in the spring of this year and now drive for work. I never thought I’d see this type of work. My grandfather who passed a few years ago, was a truck driver for many years, and when he retired, was a city bus driver. In a way, I feel like I’ve followed in his steps though he drove for work for much longer. I hope I can find more joy in this line of work. The only thing I need now are more hours. After this, I will be happier. :)
